#AtoZChallenge: M is for Midpoint up the Mountain

We are midway through the month of April, midway through the challenge. It’s a good point for taking stock. There’s still a ways to go, but look how far we’ve come! It takes a bit of a nudge to keep the momentum going.

I’m also midway through the 40 days of saying my mantra.

Om namo bhagavate vasudevaya.

I didn’t fully understand why I was drawn to saying this mantra at this time until I saw this in a friend’s blog

I see [the coronavirus] kind of like a cosmic parent entering a chaotic scene and saying I don’t care who started it, you’re all going sit down and shut up right now. Everyone to your rooms!

Oh. It’s a good time in these days of polarization and xenophobia to look within – to honor the inner divinity that recognizes that all is one. Each day I sing these Sanskrit words 108 times. When I’m done, I’m at peace, and I’m filled with purple light.
